Diagnostic Nano Applications (DNA) is a majority-owned subsidiary of Avisio, Inc. formed to market and commercialize Instant Detect, the company's new nano sensory technology that instantly detects biological viruses

Independent of the application (human health, agriculture, animal health), instruments currently used for detection of disease-causing pathogens are slow, expensive, bulky, and requires the expertise of a specialized technician in laboratory conditions.

Instant Detect is a disruptive concept that will fill an enormous gap in disease management. The technology enables extremely low concentrations of pathogens to be detected which will allow for early detection and efficient monitoring for the presence of disease and other pathogens in the field providing decision-makers with real-time intelligence of field conditions. This will be useful not only for vector and disease management but also for bio-detection in the homeland security, health care, agroenvironmental field and food safety markets.
